After receiving Ph.D. in the Department of Biochemistry at University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Tintut joined David Geffen School of Medicine as a faculty. She also holds secondary appointments in the Departments of Physiology and Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Tintut is a Safety Committee Chair of the Department of Physiology. She served as an organizer of Musculoskeletal Seminar Series and a Director of Physiology Teaching Laboratory. She also served on editorial boards at PLOS One and Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine.
