I'm a first-year Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology student with an intended minor in Philosophy on the pre-med track. Before moving to Los Angeles, I lived in Sacramento. I joined Dr. Hsu's lab in March of this year, where I assist in data collection and sample processing for the Long Covid and Heart Failure projects, both of which utilize a cardiopulmonary exercise test. In the Long Covid study, we aim to characterize the hemodynamic and immunological effects of exercise on patients with Long Covid through questionnaire administration and blood sample collection and analysis. In the Heart Failure study, we are trying to determine whether sweat can be a feasible guide for exercise in patients with heart failure through collection and analysis of blood and sweat. In my spare time, I like to run, go to the gym, read books, spend time outside, hang out with friends and root for Liverpool Football Club and the Sacramento Kings.
